Parkhead Fitness has many options to meet your unique goals
Mum (and Baby)
As a personal trainer specialising in pre and postnatal fitness, I’m here to help you exercise safely and confidently during pregnancy and after having your baby. Every woman’s pregnancy and recovery is unique, which is why I offer personalised exercise plans that focus on core strength, improving posture, and supporting pelvic floor health. Whether you're easing into movement for the first time or returning to exercise after a break, my approach is designed to meet you where you are. If you used to work out regularly and want to regain your strength and fitness, I’ll help you do so in a way that’s safe, effective, and empowering. Let’s work together to help you feel strong, energised, and confident—one step at a time.
The Parkhead Fitness Approach
Why choose Parkhead Fitness for your session?
I have two children (now 14 and 7) and still vividly remember desperately wanting to find a way to exercise which worked for us. There is no one-size fits all but here’s a few reasons why I think Parkhead Fitness will work for you:
bring your baby/young child to the session
times that work for you - we can adapt session times as your baby’s routine changes
a comfortable studio with wooden floors not a typical gym environment
free parking on the adjacent street and one-step access
bring your buggy right into the space so there’s no need to disturb your little one if they’ve fallen asleep
babies can be unpredictable but there’s no need to worry if yours becomes unsettled or needs attention
I am able to hold/rock your baby if you are happy for me to do so
access to a toilet and plenty of space to feed/change your baby if needed
PLUS a coffee or tea at the end of each session!
How it works
Contact me
I know making that first contact can be daunting but I’d love to chat to you about how we can work together. Drop me an email, text, WhatsApp or call me, whatever works for you.
We will briefly chat through your goals and what you are looking to achieve.
Initial Consultation
At the initial consultation we will discuss current fitness levels, set some realistic goals and talk through any specific issues you might be facing.
Ideally this would be in person but can be remote, if preferred.
Once we’re comfortable to get going, you’d book an initial block of sessions.
Booking Sessions
I allocate 1 hour of studio time for Mum and Baby sessions, with the actual programme lasting 45 mins. This gives time to settle your baby when needed without feeling like you’re missing out.
A block consists of 5 sessions which must be taken in a 8 week period. Again, this allows for some flexibility.
Your Programme
Your programme is exactly that, yours. Whilst I will have built a 5 week programme following the initial consultation; it will be very much adapted to suit how you feel at each session and the progress you are making.
At the end of each block, we will evaluate the progress made, goals achieved and re-set as we move forward.
