Strength training isn’t just about lifting weights—it’s about building a body that feels powerful, moves well, and looks great at every age. Whether you're new to fitness or returning after time away, I create personalised programs that help you gain muscle, improve posture, boost energy, and support long-term health. My approach is designed for all levels and all bodies, with a focus on ageing well and feeling confident in your skin. Why choose Parkhead Fitness for your session?

The Parkhead Fitness approach is strength-led but sessions are very much individual and aimed at helping you achieve your specific goals. No two programmes are likely to be the same. Sessions will consist of elements of the following, with weight and repetitions set to meet your goals and fitness level:

  • dumbbells

  • kettlebells and medicine balls

  • resistance bands

  • bodyweight exercises

  • mobility and stability

  • core focussed exercises with and without equipment

  • cycling (Peloton bike)

  • running (in adjacent Greenwich Park)

  • cardio exercises

  • stretching

How it works

We will briefly chat through your goals and what you are looking to achieve.

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is where we discuss current fitness levels, set some realistic goals and talk through any specific issues you might be facing.

Ideally this would be in person but can be remote, if preferred.

Once we’re comfortable to get going, you’d book an initial block of sessions.

Booking Sessions

Sessions are either 45 min or 1 hour to suit you. A lot can be achieved in 2 x 45 min/week but it’s completely up to you and we can work around your commitments as needed.

Sessions are booked in blocks of 5 which must all be taken within an 8 week period. Flexibility of the offering is key so let’s chat about what might work best for you - consistency over an all or nothing approach is so important.

Your Programme

Your programme is exactly that, yours. The plan will be adapted to suit how you feel at each session and the progress you are making.

We will evaluate your progress, goals achieved and adjust as we move forwards.
